Customer Feedback
John D.
“They did a great job digitizing some of my old VHS tapes. They even redid them because they sensed a delay in the audio. Quick turnaround and I’m supporting local entrepreneurs.”

“I Highly recommend Zstories Digital for converting your valuable faily memories into digital version. I had a partially broken SD card, thinking I would never get those memories back. John was able to rescue them in a very short time. Awesome service and great quality”
Unleash the stories behind our digitizing process. Let us take your old memories and transfer them in a memory stick or hard drive. Your journey of nostalgia begins here. Save the tapes and photos, don’t let them die forever!
After 10 to 15 years, tape quality decreases dramatically. Don’t let that happen. Contact us.
Burbank locals: If you live in Burbank, we can pick up and drop off your tapes at no extra charge. If you’re not in Burbank or surrounding areas, contact us and we can transact over mail. (See Shipping information)
Our conditions
The quality of the digital version will basically be the same as the quality of the tapes given to us to digitize. Sometimes we increase FPS and color to better the quality of the image.
We thrive for excellence. We make sure that each digitized video works and that the sound and picture is synced. Sometimes, TVs do not support certain video playing formats. That is not a Zstories issue and we cannot fix that issue. However, we’ve not had this issue.
We do not refund. Sorry. We spend a great amount of time digitizing the videos and verifying they work.
Your privacy is number one. We do not share your videos. We do not keep them more than 48 hours after digitization is complete.
We love big projects!

FAQ’s
Will my flash drive or external hard drive work on my laptop and TV? Yes, we make sure that the videos are playable before handing over your flash drive. Sometimes, some TVs or Laptops don’t support video formats (rare), that’s not a problem on our end however.
My Mac doesn’t play the videos, why? Mac is picky in our opinion. You can download VLC player and that should do the trick.
Will my videos look better because it’s being digitized? Your videos will look basically the same quality as they are on the original tape. Sometimes, we up the Frame Per Seconds or change the brighteness for a better quality video. We often see old videos that have been sitting in a box with years of heat and humidity exposure. That affects the video.
